An approximate calculation or judgment of the value, number, quantity, or extent of something.
Rackley Master Carpentry will meet you on site and estimate the cost of a specific project(s) or job(s) for free.
After hearing your vision or description of required services, we will systematically measure the area now known as the jobsite.
Using our knowledge we use the measurements to estimate the amount and price of the materials required.
Using our experience and the experience of our consultants and strategists, we establish the method and amount of time necessary to complete the project with the required materials in the required location.
The total estimated cost of the job(s) or projects(s) is the price of materials (which includes permits if needed) added to the price of the labor required for the job(s) or project(s).
The labor is usually calculated with a flat hourly company rate wage multiplied by the amount of hours estimated to complete the job, OR 110% the cost of the materials, whichever is greater.
If you aren't sure exactly what capital improvement service(s) you require from Rackley Master Carpentry we also offer consultation for a fraction of the rate of our real property capital improvement services.
Scheduling a consultation with us prior to scheduling your estimate will ensure you get the best value on larger, more complex projects and jobs. Consultations will increase efficiency of estimation, invoicing, and payment for the entire project(s), job(s).
In anywhere from an hour to half a day we can have a crystal clear strategy to move forward with your goals and projects and make sure they are completed at the highest quality and best value for you!
We recommend scheduling a consultation if you need capital improvement services but, aren't sure what services you require, the consultation will help to clarify the required project(s) or job(s). Once we have clarified the goals for the property and what is required to meet your goals we will strategically create individual estimates in order of operation.
This means that on larger projects that include multiple jobs, the work we do is completed in the most efficient order to prevent headaches or rework later in the process.
We highly recommend scheduling for a consultation prior to an estimation if you require three or more of our services in the same location or if you aren't able to easily describe the service you think you need.
We offer this service because we believe it delivers extra value to Rackley Master Carpentry and our clients.
